What can I write that hasn’t already been written about this bike?\u00a0 It’s amazing.\u00a0 I have owned several bikes (Goldwing, Yamaha FJR, BMW K1200LT, numerous others) and it is, hands down, the best all-around street\/road bike I have ever ridden.\u00a0 I’ll provide the specs. in a separate post.<\/p>\n

One of the best radar detectors money can buy.\u00a0 It will be interesting to compare my detector to dad’s (escort).\u00a0 I’ll update the Blog with comparisons as we travel.\u00a0 Any bets of who will get the first speeding ticket?\u00a0 the safe money is on Dad. ;0)<\/p>\n

\"\"SCHUBERTH C3<\/p>\n

Modular helmet that I’ve had for 2 years…a bit pricey but well worth it.\u00a0 Very light, moves air well in hot weather, great field of vision and pretty much fits true to size,\u00a0 probably best for oval shaped heads.<\/p>\n

\"\"ROKKER JEANS<\/p>\n

Waterproof jeans…what?\u00a0 I’ll update the post after I have a chance to ride in the rain.\u00a0 So far they’re great, fit similar to Levis 501s, the scholer dynotech material is a sort of phase change material and I have found it comfortable in a wide range of temperatures.\u00a0 The D30 armor is pliable and very comfortable.<\/p>\n

\"\"BMW Motorrad<\/p>\n

Jacket comes with a waterproof (gortex?) liner.\u00a0 Without the liner it is extremely comfortable and moves a lot of air.\u00a0 The D30 armor is comfortable and the fit\/finish is what you would expect from Motorrad.\u00a0 I’ve had the Jacket for almost 2 years and it has held\u00a0together\u00a0fairly well.<\/p>\n

\"\"AIRHAWK R<\/p>\n

I just got this seat and I’ll be trying it out for the first time on our trip.\u00a0 I’ll update the Blog as I gain experience with it…I’ve read a lot of great reviews.<\/p>\n
