Ok, so the good news is my radar detector works great, the bad news is…Dad didn’t see my flashing head-lights.\u00a0 We were in the process of passing (at a rapid speed, just below 3 digits) several slow moving vehicles (which should have\u00a0been our first hint – they were all grouped up\u00a0 behind the Utah State Trooper) before I could signal Dad he was on top of the trooper with me just behind him.\u00a0 At that point we really didn’t have any choice except to pass around him.\u00a0 He promptly turned on his pretty lights and pulled us over.\u00a0 Mr. Trooper was very nice, he gave us\u00a0a ticket for 5 miles per hour over the speed limit.\u00a0 I about lost it when he looked at our bikes and said, ” you certainly have enough power there.”\u00a0 Anyway, tomorrow is another day and another state.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
